If you're interested, I ran across this article from Barna research. I think we too often confuse inviting someone to church with telling people about Jesus. It is possible that the person you are talking to is very interested in Jesus, but not at all interested in church. In fact, "church" may be scary, uninteresting, or repulsive. And yet, they may love to talk with you about God or Jesus.
