Mission India Multiplication Projects

Pastors’ Blog

May 5, 2009

Dear [FIRSTNAME],

We began our Mission India Multiplication Project on Transfiguration Sunday, February 22. We will continue to Pentecost Sunday, May 31 (and beyond for those who want to keep going). The goal is to raise at least half of the $35,000 needed to train 10 Church Planters over the next two years These church planters will transform communities and start Children’s Bible Clubs and Adult Literacy Classes.

God has truly been at work in Trinity’s people.

·         One person is doing handyman work for $10/hour to donate to Mission India.

·         Some young ladies sold goodies after worship.

·         One man is donating his income tax refund (after thinking that he couldn’t think of anything to do and had no money to give).

·         One couple visited from out of town while we were handing out $10 bills. They sent a check for $150.

·         Another person also donated $300.

·         Monica, Pastor Rowe, and I are going to sell mochas and goodies after school once a week in May.

·         One person sold cascorones (confetti eggs).

·         Another donated the profits from her business until she had reached her $100 goal.

·         A couple is selling a cord of firewood from their oak tree for $375.

·         One family is planning on starting a family movie night.

·         A man is going to lead a seminar on QuickBooks.

·         Several ladies hosted an Indian Tea.

·         Some are going to host an Indian Dinner.

·         One man had a drawing for Bird Houses.

Keep up the good work! It’s great to see so many enthusiastic people. It’s easy to tell that this is God at work. People want to give of the many blessing that God has poured out on us.

Let us know what you’re doing for your multiplication project.

In Christ,

Pastor Steve
