| A Short Letter On Suffering |
Where's God in All of This?
Suffering happens all around us. Sometimes it comes in the form of a
natural disaster; other times in the form of a terror brought on by
humans. Sometimes suffering is fueled by economics or medical
conditions; at other times it appears randomly. Suffering can happen on
a global scale, within a specific community, or be limited to an
individual.
Suffering comes in so many different forms, but they all drive us back
to that age-old question, "Where is God in all of this?".
God's Spirit reminds us that even in the midst of seemingly pointless
suffering, God has a purpose and it will ultimately work for our good
because God has called us as His children.
